I'm with you SD89, I was listening to this afternoon show on local sports talk radio out of Raleigh and they had Mark Trestman on who lives in Raleigh. You can prolly find it on 99 The Fan's website, but the interview really cemented a lot of what I was already thinking.

Trestman was one of the guys the Tebows called to work with Tim. He said they emphasized they really wanted more than one mentor to work with Tim. He said The Golden Calf of Bristol is one of the fastest learners he's ever met. He said The Golden Calf of Bristol's throwing motion wasn't a problem, the starting point was b/c it elongated the throw. He mentioned how if you watch a game every week QBs shorten/quicken up their motion, or release from different points b/c of pressure. He said with The Golden Calf of Bristol, we're just trying to get him to do that more often.

He also said there was a misconception about the spread offense being detrimental to his development into an NFL QB, and that people don't realize he still had to read defenses and understand advanced football concepts. Trestman said he was amazed with his ability to read defenses and whoever gets The Golden Calf of Bristol is going to get their value out of him.

Us drafting The Golden Calf of Bristol is not completely out of this realm.. I know we are interested in him at the very least. He is Fox's type of "football player" QB, that is a fiery leader. I would not be in the least bit surprised if we took him. In fact, I might even change my mock to reflect that based on all of these cuts.

Whichever team drafts The Golden Calf of Bristol will instantly become a higher profile team, and will be under the microscope.. Carolina would get a lot more attention for the media, that's for sure.

Yep, The Golden Calf of Bristol would put some butts in the seats too. Honestly, I'm not totally against it, so long as they are in a position to be patient with him and let him develop for a couple of years.

Now I understand why Hoover was released...Even The Golden Calf of Bristol cant fill his shoes. Id also prefer this team to be underdogs (and stay out of the spotlight), I enjoy sneaking up on opposing teams that are so called "GREAT" and just embarrass the hell outta em...
