they happen everyday. When one hits media start reporting all of them. The big ones lately are a bit unusual however. Probably just 2012 stuff a little early. I wouldn't worry.

On the bright side, if earthquakes are happening that lets you know that the Earth's core isn't cooling therefore there's no threat of the carbon cycle stopping or the Earth's magnetic field from disappearing causing us all to get cancer.

      Never even heard of a "big time throw" stat till bryce started playing better last year.
