Don't know how much stock I'd put into it, but Richardson is one of the leaders the other owners respect. Not only are the owners not spending money (Dallas? Washington? Philly?), but they are crying poor under the current agreement. Something tells me many of these moves have as much to do with the CBA as it does with the Panthers plans going forward. Better to "sacrifice" one season and get the deal they want than gamble their finances in trying to win now.

In other words, I wouldn't be surprised if the Panthers are being handcuffed by Richardson's concern for the league as a whole.

Can someone with a Twitter account ask Gantt if he thinks trading DWill is on the horizon...

I am seriously starting to think it is going to happen... Hello #2 pick and Ndamukong Suh!

I wonder how much the Lions would give us for DWill... a 1st AND a 2nd? At least a 1st and a 3rd I would hope..

No way in hell the Lions would take D-Will over Suh. Running Backs are a dime a dozen in the NFL right now. We have four good ones on our team.

Same decision the Patriots made this year with Richard Seymour and Vince Wilfork, they got a probable top 10 pick for Seymour and just locked up Wilfork for 5 years. I like the way the Pats do business, they win a lot of Lombardis.

But the Pats never cut Hoov!

just found out. This poo is f**king ridiculous. It's like we don't want to have a good team next season. just because we don't want to pay the nigga a couple extra million next season for being a god-tier blocking fullback? what kinda dumbshit logic is this, especially when there's no cap next season and when our team has a run-first offense. I really can't believe this team sometimes. Makes me wonder why I even bother, not being from the Carolinas and all. Yes, I'm biased because Hoov was one of my favorite players, but f**k this team right now. Shoulda just stayed away from this site.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
