Twitter report: Panthers cut Brad Hoover

Fullback Brad Hoover, one of the more popular players on the Carolina Panthers roster, was released Monday, according to safety Chris Harris on his Twitter feed.p/The 33-year-old fullback was due a $100,000 roster bonus soon, and coupled with his $860,000 base salary, made him an endangered species.

This is getting annoying. They don't care about winning. I think the only loyalty Richardson has now is to the NFL. He couldn't care less if the Panthers win or not. I don't have a problem with them cutting players, but they're doing nothing to replace them. We have no receivers outside of Steve Smith, 1 QB with any experience and it's limited, very little experience on the defensive line. They'll be lucky to go 4-12 this year.
