Game 63: Bobcats@76ers

After what Coach Larry Brown calls the "best played game of the season" last night, the Bobcats are in the city of brotherly love tonight to face the Philadelphia 76ers. This game will be another great test for the Bobs. 76ers are a blue collar team that has struggled greatly this season but always plays well against the Bobcats. I think we squeeked out a 1 point win over them earlier this year, while dropping 1 to them as well. The 76ers also played last night, and lost to the Pacers. They will look to bounce back strong against us at home. Even though its a back to back, we need Gerald & Jax to get it going this game if we have any chance of winning. We'll need DJ, Tyrus, and our bench to continue to play well and give us a lift. Lets make it 4 in a row tonight and put some distance between Chicago & Miami. GO BOBCATS!!!

I have never seen him this excited since he has been here. He was running around giving high fives to people and smiling.

76ers could be the worst organization in the NBA right now and Eddie Jordan is a joke of a coach....I can't stand the guy. I am a 76ers fan but I can honestly say I want the Bobcats to win. The 76ers need to lose as many as posssible from now until the end of the year so help us out Bobcats! ;)

    • So what about their sign is not compliant or causing the issue according to the rules? Them always having it, or the amount of time they have had it, or their loyalty to the team is not relevant to this situation. To be clear, I know next to nothing about this situation, just trying to clarify.  I have no dog in this fight and am emotionless on this topic. If you are breaking a rule, you do not get special treatment just because you have been here breaking it a long time.
    • The team fell for that late season averageness he displayed last year and got burned. You want to do that again? I don’t.  But I sort of do agree that we are stuck with him as the starter.  I can’t decide whether replacing him gets us into the playoffs so suffering through one last season is the price for freedom in 2026.  Three ways to be free in 2026: He actually plays like a real NFL QB,  The team sends him packing. Be completely out on tne Panthers until changes are made.
    • Short version = these people have had those seats since the beginning and haven't missed a game. They have always had their sign. They had to change the sign - I think in 2015 when Cam ripped that Packers fan's banner down (love him for that, by the way) - to be compliant and haven't had any issues in the last 10 years. The Panthers even used a photo of them and their sign in their album from the Falcons game. In the 3rd quarter last weekend it was decided that the sign needed to come down. Seems weird and unnecessary, especially since it has been there for every game for a decade.   EDIT: they've had it since 2003. Still a long-ass time.... Also "cringe" is a funny word for someone over the age of 18 who lives and overshares on the Huddle. But, ok....
