Still got my blue ones from 97. The dye ran everywhere once they got wet, so yeah, definitely not the same quality as the ones you could buy. I believe those were Playoff Prowl, not Growl. Cheesy? Yes. A must for the collection if you're gonna be there? Of course.

This is not a blackout in the truest sense of the word. The players are wearing black, but it seems they want the fans to wear white.

At least one would think so if they want to achieve a “sea of white.” Maybe not.

I'm not ticked about it, but it'd be nice to have something new and different. It's just a thing though. I've always got 2 or 3 towels from all different years in my bag. My favorites are the first ones from the early years. There has really only been one that flat out sucked (those tiny blue ones that weren't the right color and didn't have anything panthers written on it at all - it was something like Carolina Place Mall, AllTel, WBT and a couple of other advertisers names). They'll never be the same though as long as they use it as a marketing tool - which is fine. Easy to tell them apart.
