New NCAA Football 11 Blog, this blog details some graphical improvements, mainly linear lighting which does make it look more clean and crisp. There are 2 pretty nice screenshots. This is my favorite, details aren't too bad. Better then the Madden screenshots released recently...

i buy madden for franchise mode. in madden 09, it sucked. i didnt buy madden 10, dont regret it. got through the season without playing it. until the glitches get fixed, i wont be getting it. NCAA all the way.

ncaa > madden

i have bought ncaa every year since 2003. skipped madden for the first time last year. will probably do the same again this year.

It is Madden... just with a NCAA FB skin.

Same engine, same animations, same crap.

I won't be excited for another football game until they make a true football simulator with real physics.

i wouldnt know, i never played madden 10.

madden09 franchise was so fuged up that i decided i wouldnt buy it. being the football fan i am, i needed a game and love college football so i got that. plus, im a huge fan of dynasty mode.

Well if you never played 10 how do know if it was even good or not, FWIW it was a huge improvement over 09 and put NCAA10 to shame.

because i read reviews and poo online telling me what the improvements were. i honestly thought gameplay was decent enough and dont care about gang tackles and improved graphics. there were just too many franchise glitches in 09 and none of those were addressed. as i said, i'd rather play dynasty over a madden franchise now.

    • I've shown you numerous comps for other tackles in the same age and talent range.  His contract, taking into account his age, health, etc.  is the going rate.  It's a fair deal. I've shown you examples of how long it usually takes to find even an average replacement.  Hell, look at every tackle that has ever started for the Panthers.  How many would you consider a success?  They are not easy to find. After everything we've done with this team since drafting Bryce why would we decide to let our best linemen go and add a huge question mark at tackle?   FA is a crapshoot in which any guy available will have cons/issues.  If not, they'll cost a fortune.   Outside of a first or maybe 2nd round pic next year it'll take a few years for a tackle to learn the position at the NFL level.  There are still questions about Icky. Every vet NFL player deals with maintenance.  Between the contract value and history I'm not overly worried about his knee.  I contend his knee issue isn't anything to be overly worried about.  It's not zero risk but it's an acceptable risk.  Every player we draft and every contract we sign has risk.  You're blowing up his own negative words about his knees and ignoring him saying he is healthy and the knee is a non issue.  You have a strong chicken little complex with this team.  Being he has always been a Panther they are very aware of any health issues. We paid now because now is cheaper.  If his knee was really an issue they would have waited.  That tells me it's not the issue you want it to be.
