Rumor: Tepper may not be the richest (individual) owner in the NFL for long

Recommended Posts

Anytime you take ANY individuals and group them into something you are showing ignorance.  It is the same mindset that causes things like racism.  People are people.  Some are good and some are not.  I know many wealthy people that give a huge amount of their money and time to helping others and do this under the radar because they do not want any recognition, they just want to help others.  They feel they have been given much and it is their mission to help others.  Many of them employ a lot of people as well and by taking chances and starting businesses, they allow many others to earn a living and provide nice lives for their families.  I cringe every time I hear people bash wealthy people.  We have become a society that is not grateful for what we have and more feel entitled.  If you feel entitled you will never be satisfied, but being grateful will allow you to appreciate what you do have.  At some point most of us reach a point where we realize money is really just a trap that leaves you wanting more.  Family and faith come into play much more as life goes on.  I see so many people that say they can't make bills etc, while eating out all the time, buying stuff they want instead of what they need.

    • The one thing I keep seeing over and over with him is he cannot handle a stunt and struggles to disengage. If he's locked up with an end and someone comes around to his left, they're getting to the QB. I don't know if it's a mental or technique thing, or was a problem with bryce not knowing how to set protections, or canales' system. probably a combo of everything, but he just does look like he fully understands the position. I don't know how long you wait for a guy to figure that stuff out.
    • and for the record, Brooks was a monster at Texas and we should wait until he takes the field before we make a final judgement on the move. As it stands, we already have a very good running back and man it'd be sweet if we had more young defenders, tho.
    • We traded back before we traded up and acquired a future 2nd in the process.  It's not like we threw away additional high picks to get him.  I think it was a couple 5ths that we just acquired or got back regardless.  5th rounds picks were being written off as not worth our time for AT and DJ earlier.   We did however use our 2nd on a player that isn't able to contribute right away and that really hurts with as many holes as we have on this roster.  The pick itself was questionable.  The trade up part of it was no big deal though.  In totality we dropped back some spots and got a 2025 2nd plus Brooks.
