Stern is gonna have us get raped.

It has nothing to do with Stern thus far. The Cats are playing like absolute poo right now. Taking poor early shots and turning the ball over isn't gonna get it done in the playoffs.

They can get three's by dribble penetration as well. Regardless you have to double him unless you have Shaq in his prime.

Play Howard one on one, if he scores, so what.

You do not have to double Howard.

If they get dribble penetration, then Felton, Jackson, and Wallace didn't do their jobs...period, because Felton needs to stop playing like a punk on Nelson, and Wallace and Jackson need play defense on Carter and Barnes.

Lewis isn't much of a threat to penetrate.

The only reason Nelson is penetrating, is because Felton reverts to pussy mode whenever he's playing a guard he thinks is better than he is.

Play the Hawks with Bibby out there, and Felton will look like an All Star. Put Jamal Crawford out there, and Felton will look like he doesn't belong in the league.

Because his mindset changes based on his perception of who he's guarding.

If Nelson is penetrating, Felton's defense is sucking.

Nelson does that to most every point guard besides perhaps Deron Williams and Derrick Rose. He is a big strong pg.

Look man, I don't need you to tell me what Nelson does.

I couldn't care less about "NELSON."

All I care about is Felton's mindset.

He ALWAYS plays on his heels whenever he's playing against a guard HE BELIEVES is better than he is.

All that matters is what Felton believes.

I don't want to hear another word about it if you can't understand that simple fact.

Felton's poor play is based on his belief that Nelson is better than he is.

    • Another ugly loss incoming.
    • 5 yards a carry is great IMO opinion because we are talking an average of 2nd and 5, which means the defense can't sit solely on the pass or run. I understand 5 is an average and not all carries are going to be that, but he definitely had better runs than Chuba. When we have Chuba running the ball for 1 or 2 yards and getting stuck in 2nd and 8 or 3rd and 6, we have to pass - which as we saw was the nail in the coffin for us with Dalton back there. The only 2 drives in the game where we had a legit chance of scoring (before garbage time) was the drive we scored a FG on and the drive Andy took the inexcusable sack on to cost us points. No coincidence that the RB on the field those drives was Rico (who pretty much picked up 5+ yards every carry outside of that goofy direct snap play). It really needs to be a 2-to-1 ratio of snaps in favor of Rico going forward (unless Chuba gets better). I don't care if we are paying Chuba more. Other teams have had no problem benching the guy being paid more if the other player is doing better - just look at the Falcons and them starting Penix over Cousins like 6 games into his rookie season.
    • Depends on perspective. I do think the talent is great. Whether T-Mac reaches his potential is another story, especially within these current circumstances. Some of the metrics are really good already (like average yards per catch). Even PFF already had him as the 20th or so best WR in the league.
