And that is why Panthers got Edwards...

If they wanted Price they would drafted him. But they wanted Edwards, not Price and Edwards would not be there at 4th round when we pick.

You said all the good receivers were gone which is why they made that trade. I was just pointing out that you were wrong. Dont take it personal. Id rather have a WR thats an actual receiver than a QB hoping to make the transiition. Sounds like this was a PR move since there are so may App state fans in this area. Jerry is all about the mighty dollar these days and this just put more money in his pockets.

Since when have the Panthers had trouble selling tickets? There's no basis in fact for this statement at all. In fact, if they were going to go this route, you would see a lot more ACC players on the roster.

That's just an insult to a great guy, someone who's done more for this area than you could ever dream of.

Boo hoo!

I never understood this slurp fest for JR. Why is he so off limits from criticism? Im sure he's a great guy but he's a business man. He wants money!

How are CyberJags comments a slurp fest??? The best way to make money is to win...

Wasnt talking about him specifically but in general if anyone DARES to criticize JR for anything people cry about it.

I agree but we havent been winning alot. This was clearly a PR move. JR decided not to sign players and let Peppers walk so he can pocket some extra cash then he raised ticket prices on top of that. He had to do something to keep the local fans still interested so here it is. Smart business move, terrible pick though that had nothing to do with winning games.

    • Lol Atlanta looks to have lost their young edge rusher, has no 1st round pick, a complete mess at QB, a new coaching staff… And we swept them this year. Says what they think of us.
    • I mean, you can only go so far with the propping up. When a guy's numbers are as bad overall as Bryce's you have to try to find specific niches to sell. It's just funny that they're honing in on where he's probably weakest to try to prop him up. Whether it's a pro-Bryce conspiracy or not, it echos my chief complaint about PFF's analysis for years. When your purely statistical analysis badly skews from the eye test of actually watching the games, it should be screaming at you that you need to modify your system not double down on it. PFF is awesome at compiling stats but their grade systems are highly flawed and they never seem to try to improve them.
    • Then why is Byce also last in other PFF stats?  The deep ball thrower stat by PFF can simply be flawed vs some conspiracy trying to prop up a QB on a team that a former employee now works for.  Both of these guys were also hired AFTER the Panthers had already drafted Bryce.  Trying to prop him up with a made up stat while he struggled would be a detriment to their own team honestly.
