Really hope the DL doesnt hold us back next year..honestly think this DT rotation could be one of the worst in the league. I dont think the draft was the answer but we should've spent a little bit of money in fa and got a decent tackle. Not to mention we're not gonna have peppers eating up double teams on the line next year. I foresee having to stack the box a few times next year.

The DL is definitely an unknown but I think it has potential to be really solid. We've got some guys that were making noise before their injuries coming back this year. There's also a great chance they make a move in free agency once teams start making room for their rookies.

What DT in FA was so great that we needed them? I really don't remember a single one.

If there was a difference maker available at our selection I imagine we'd have taken a long, hard look.

From what I've seen of our DT's and from the tape/scouting reports the guys available at our picks aren't better than the guys we already have.

    • I suspect it is Burrow’s way of expressing frustration at the current state and direction of the team and basically saying - sort it out, or I’m out. Now that could be retirement, or it could be him wanting out via a trade, either way, shots fired. That said, I know that coverage has changed over the years and become more 24/7. We also have a generation (mine included) that talk more about needing to enjoy their careers rather than simply fulfilling the obligation of working. With that in mind, it would be interesting to compare how the QBs of the 70s, 80s and 90s would talk and handle things in a world where the cameras and coverage doesn’t stop. It would be interesting to see how they’d handle things compared to modern day athletes.
    • Bryce is such a little bitch......NO TDs in the Superdome that's pathetic!  "Bad Bryce" is usually the one that shows up obviously from those numbers and the eyeball test. I'm rooting for the Panthers all day everyday obviously but I have 0.00000% faith in Bryce Young winning us this game Sunday and to say that about your starting QB is telling.
    • True. He's pretty mediocre at check downs.
