A non-profit group i'm in is having our 2nd annual cornhole tournament this Saturday to benefit autisim. Let me know if any of you wants to check it out.

Dang. Wish I could come. My friend and I stay playing Cornhole. But he's still back at school. Sounds fun though, and a great cause!

if so...how far apart of the boards supposed to be? My buddy was playing the other day and good lord, you could barely see from one board to the other!!!!

Too bad I'm about 2500 miles away, I kickass at cornhole. Hawk, when my friends and I play we usually keep the boards 25-30 feet apart.

thanks....that sounds reasonable...I swear this guy had them well over 50 feet!!! His wife was playing and she almost had to throw it over hand!!!!

I usually "walk off" 27 feet. Using your big Neaderthal feet, that would be about 13 steps for you.

And as tall as you are, how do you keep the bags from burning up upon re entry into the atmosphere?

Having them that far apart defeats the purpose. You're supposed to arch the bags enough so that they either fall through the hole or "stick". Anything further than about 30 feet and momentum will carry it off the board almost every time.

preaching to the choir here...I kept telling him too...and he was like...this is how we used to play back on the farm...and I'm like...have you got any idea why you only are scoring points when by some luck of nature, you actually hit the hole dead on?!!! I think the rest of the board was full of dents!!!
