You know damn well if the roles were reversed and the panthers had a super bowl championship but averaged a half a win less than everyone else that stat would mean nothing to you.

This is exactly what my point was. All four teams are equally average but two of them have a trophy. So how can the panthers be the best team in the division? Because they have a slightly better 8 wins per year average?
