3 nights, 3 dreams, 1 result.

The last three nights I have had the same dream:

Saturday night's game....it's been a night time game all 3 times, playing the Cardinals...all the right players....and I'm there in the area I sit in, or close to...it's always a little blurry at the beginning of the game but the Panthers take a nice lead 30-something to 14 or something...then the Cards make a bit a comeback but fall up sort every time.. Panthers win 34-27

jeez....

before every game, the same thread always shows up: good feeling/ bad feeling/ good dream/ bad dream.. every time!

I know the panthers are probably going to win, and I haven't had a dream about the panthers since.. well... I don't think I've ever had a dream about the Panthers..

I know the panthers are a better team and I am pretty damn sure they want it more.. and I don't need a dream or a feeling to know that. I just know it. This team has been on a mission since August.. everybody can clearly see it without the aid of a dream... I would trust my logic way before trusting a dream... just my .02

"I would trust my logic way before trusting a dream... just my .02 "

haha...you can keep the change...

It was just a post...this week is boring...I had the dreams thought it was weird...If it was just one dream I wouldn't have posted it..but 3 nights in a row!

It's not like I put the mortgage on the line because of it or anything...

You didn't have any dreams before the election did ya?

Possibly, can't remember them all... :P but what IS also kind of nuts...back in late 2004, after the election, a girl at App had on a McCain 04 hoody...so I went up to her to just talk (pretty good looking, and I'm a politics junkie) we get to talking (I wasn't totally against McCain...before he sold his soul to the neo-cons...I would have always preferred him over W) and I told her...in all honesty..."You'll get another chance to vote for John McCain, 2008 will be Barack Obama vs John McCain" she seemed to really like all I had to say about Barack...well and later she did get another chance to vote for McCain...but the funny thing...she ended up voting for Barack....this is NO lie.

I did meet Barack Obama in 2006 and shook his hand and thanked him for what he represents and his voice in the government...and how I saw him speak that year...blah blah blah...and how I thought he was exactly what this country needed...a true figure-head of the nation.. Nice guy, soft hands. It was at Chicago O'Hare, October 2006...and then what do you know he announced his candidacy that February and the rest is history...

:sifone:

..yes...it was all me...you can send the thank you cards (or hate mail) after the inauguration...which I did get a ticket for!!! I have a cousin who is an Emmy winning camera man for CBS...he's actually the "White House Correspondent" camera man...awesome job...

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
