Replay?

if they don't give this guy a perfect game it'll be so fuged up. it has absolutely zero effect on the outcome of the game, so it's not like it'll matter.

what makes it worse is he didn't go from perfect game to no hitter. he went from perfect game to NOTHING.

I dont think replay would take away from the game if it was implemented right. Have a couple guys watching replays and then send it down to the field. It wouldnt take longer than 1 minute. It takes longer for players to walk to the dugout and walk into the batters box.

That call was fuged up though.

TOTALLY agree. Plus it would take away the awesome phrase of " a bang bang play at 3rd"

I agree that it is part of the game.

But was that really a bang-bang play? I think it was pretty obvious.

I feel bad for the guy, but he didn't say one thing to the ump. Which is pretty classy IMO.

    • I know people get mad when I point this out but there are usually only 1-2 maybe 3 solid players each draft. Everyone likes to hype up in the offseason and think all 7 will be Pro Bowlers but realistically in my opinion: Freeling- Solid Starter for a while probably makes it to 2nd contract. Hunter- Turns out to be best player of the group. Turns into a Kawaan Short type DL. Brazzell- Serviceable, some flashes but doesn’t make it to a 2nd contract. Too slow in the short game, takes a while to build up speed, runs awkward on routes. Lee- I just don’t see it on tape. Maybe a taller version of Troy Pride.  Hecht- I think he will be around for a little while. Reminds me of Mays, where he was shaky at first but eventually became dependable. Wheatley- Really like him. Think this will be a guy that sticks around a while as a borderline starter/solid back up. He’s already probably better than Nick Scott. Kuwatch- Probably a depth/practice squad guy a few years and fizzles out.
    • And I believe the 1st matchup was Shough’s 2nd career start.   Remember Bryce’s 2nd start?    If you don’t, no sweat, he will probably replicate it a couple more times this year.
    • For a topic that started as a lighthearted, off-season "hey, bryce should keep the beard" banter, this thread sure took a turn
