Who the hell uses this browser anymore? I just went to a county GIS website to use their mapping application (using Chrome) and I got a "not supported" page and the three supported browsers it lists are IE, Firefox, and... Netscape???

WTF? I just looked up browsing stats and Netscape's not even listed anymore?

Interestingly, Firefox has the most as 46% for the past month in 2010, with three versions of IE coming in at around 32% (combined) and Chrome at 14%.

You were on a county GIS website. Govt moves about 10 years slower than the rest of us, you should know that.

They probably just got firefox last week.

10 years? More like 20... hell, a lot of the counties in NC don't even have a GIS website and NC is VERY progressive in that area.

firefox is the bastard child of netscape from how I understand it.

If one is supported, they're both supported. (i think)

Originally yes but the code for Mozilla's product has evolved way past Netscape since 2008.

Char/Meck has a good site, New Hanover has a good site and there are a few others. I have a bud that is MIS director for Columbus and they have a great site for such a rural county. I have another bud who does GIS development work for some of the Piedmont counties and some of those are very nice.

Are you in GIS Jase or real estate?

      I don’t go back and look at the espn but there live it definitely said 1 shot 1 goal when it happened. I guess they had not added them yet. Still allowing goals that early is rough. Blue line is a total disaster still. Even with Slavin back. Miller and Nikishin keep making mistakes after mistakes.

      I generally disagree with the concept of picking a position because of value early in the draft. For instance, if there's a really good safety, RB or ILB at pick 10, I'm choosing him over a project WR or DE. Better players make the team better. A bunch of ok players will give you an ok team. The number 1 goal of the draft should be to improve the overall talent on the team. Not to fill positions of need.  Deciding beforehand that you're picking a LT in the first or second round because Ickey went down is not the way to improve the team. Now if Dan has similar grades on 2 or 3 players and one happens to be a LT, then yeah go for it. But don't pass on your guy at ILB because you have a gap at LT or need to improve the pass rush with a DE. When those guys don't pan out then you haven't improved your team. But that LB could have been a franchise cornerstone for years to come. See Luke Kuechly and Christian McCaffrey.
