I read him on top pair or a pair with flush draw. I don't see any other hands you can get away from (ie if he has trips or Q9 or something what can you do?)

Call or raise I think you are in that pot either way.

I call but don't see folding

I assume you got smacked?

Honestly, with that flop, 9, Q, 2, unless they have pocket pair, you're looking good. If you're club suited with either of your aces, you're looking even better. I would call to see the turn and go from there.

Yeah I find it hard to believe you are beat.

Go all in

this is what i did. Dont see how i cannot call. And if i just call, and he is on a draw, i give him another card and a chance to draw out.

if i call, there would be $75 in the pot at that point.

anyway, he insta-calls and turns over 2 deuces.

Early position sucks....

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
