Recommended Posts

Riley Nash has inked a three-year, entry-level contract with the Carolina Hurricanes.

Carolina dealt the 46th overall pick in the 2010 NHL entry draft for the rights to Nash. If Nash plays at the NHL level, he will earn $550,000 next season, $600,000 in 2011-12, and $700,000 in the final season of his contract. He will make $65,000 per season when he's playing in the minors. The deal also came with a $262,500 signing bonus. Nash spent three years with Nash Cornell University and he had 35 points in 30 NCAA games last season.
