I took some good out of the game last night surprisingly.

Yes I'm the biggest DJ fan and I was rockin my black 80 jersey last night with a sign that said he's clutch, but I think he had a game that was a glimpse at the future.

Yes he only had two catches for 27 yard av 13.5 yds a catch and had a nice 20 yarder over the middle, but I think in up and coming years, if given the chance, he could be a very nice compliment to Smith on the other side.

He also knows how to block. I was just wondering what you guys think the future of this kid is?

I liked what I saw from Jarrett this year. He made some crucial grabs for us this year and he seemed to mature a bit. Unfortunately, he plays for the Panthers and we lack a QB that excels at spreading the ball around and getting everyone involved in the passing game so his impact is minimal. The fact that he was inactive this year leads me to believe the coaching staff isnt too enthralled with him.

If he is successful, it won't be for us. Why? Look at our active and inactives... We usually only keep 3 WRs and maybe 4 depending on the returner on gamedays. The Eagles were worried because they only had 5 active today. lol

See the difference?

Personally, I think he has great potential but sadly we won't see it in our uniform.

I hope we do start him at the # 2 reciever spot next year. I think he has done a lot with very little oppourtunity this year, and no offense to moose he has been a great player here but he is getting up their in age and has lost a lot of speed that used to make him a very good reciever. He is still good and i think he would be great at the #3. Its time to give dj that chance he is a nice tall target that can be a 1k yrd reciever and draw some attention away from smith. Of course, if you still have jake under center forget about it.

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
