This guy is the most OBNOXIOUS person I have ever listened too. I heard him on Mike and Mike yesterday morning and a recap again this morning and he sounds like an arrogant POS. I know that the owners opted out blah blah blah but this guy's personality leads me to believe that he is one of the reasons the deal isn't getting done. JR, Jerry Jones and the rest of the owners seem like reasonable businessmen that want the best product on the field. When it is all said and done these players are getting paid BY THE OWNERS and are employees of these owners and look like spoiled babies when they are crying over being paid 10 million dollars in guaranteed money rather than 30 million dollars in guaranteed money. Demaurice Smith is the one telling them its their right...so I he's a tool.

That attitude, and feeling of entitlement is what unions are all about.

Not only that, he's a clueless suit-lawyer who would rather nit pick about compensating players who make tons of money already and fug up the NFL, than making some deals and keeping the peace so we can enjoy this sport.
