Adrian Arrington? Probably not but maybe?

Saints fans said they will be angry if they cut him because he has played so well this preseason but they are pretty stacked at reciever. They could try and keep 6 recievers...

M. Colston

Devery Henderson

Robert Meacham

Lance Moore

Courtney Robey (ST-standout)

I just don't see the Taints dropping any of those players and if they don't manage to hide him on IR like they did on 2008 then he can be snagged off of waivers.

He is very tall and fast and has good hands. He got better every year at Michigan and had his best game against Flordia for 100+ yards and 2 tds in his last game as a college players.

I think its highley unlikely the Panthers pick up any more Wide Recievers but if they did I could see them going for a guy that we could pay around the league minumum like Arrignton instead of someone expensive like Vincent Jackson or Brandon Marshall.

Probably not ever going to happen, I guess I'm just wondering if fellow Huddlers are aware of this kid.

Just an FYI, at the end of last season the Saints had six WR's on active roster, including Arrington. They could and probably will keep 6 this year, really hard to get rid of Arrington. If they keep five, they're more likely to let go of Roby.

Yea I guess you guys did have him active for that NFC Championship game. Oh, well do you guys think you will keep him. My roomie is a huge Saints fan and he hope you keep em up but isn't sure.

What's with all the "<insert unknown player here>?" posts all of a sudden?

I doubt they sign anyone else. There are already positions that need cutting.

While I agree with this I doubt there is a real Saints fan who hasn't noticed this guy. No one knew who Meacham or Moore or Colston were before to they broke out.

Saints just have a knack for drafting wrs, or probably Breese and Payton just do a good job making them look good.

Arrington was a top receiver at Michigan so I don't think he is that unknown. I just think he might be the real deal.

Then again I really like Gettis and I am a lot higher on Edwards than most people (as a Receiver, still need works at PR).

Yes, think it will be very difficult to cut him. He's our fifth best receiver and possibly better than that. By the way, we just made some early cuts down to 75 and receiver/special teams returner Rod Harper was one of them.

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
