Fantasy Team / Peterson v. Johnson

Looking to see what some of y'all think of my team. I was stuck with the 10th pick out of 12 teams in a big money league, but got sorta lucky with my 1st pick...let's see what ya think:

QB - Eli Manning (People went QB crazy in the first, so I decided to wait)

RB - Ray Rice (10th), Shonn Greene, J. Harrison, Chester Taylor

WR - DeSean Jackson, Sims-Walker, Wes Welker, Jacoby Jones

TE - Greg Olsen

D - Baltimore

K - David Akers

On another note, I have the 1st pick in my second league. Do you think Peterson or C. Johnson is gonna have the better year?

Thanks in advance for the criticism

Ray Rice you got incredibly lucky with @ 10, but that's where your draft started going down (speaking personally). I don't desean or shonn greene to satisfy their ADP this year, or even get close really. I like the jacoby jones, wes welker and chester taylor picks (depending on round taken). Akers always satisfies it seems.

I'm in a 14 team league with QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, D format with standard scoring and I've gotten to:

QB- Jay Cutler

WR- Calvin Johnson, Hakeem Nicks, Santana Moss

RB- Maurice Jones-Drew, Rashard Mendenhall

TE- Jermichael Finley

D- Carolina

K - Rian Lindell

Bench: Malcolm Floyd, Johnny Knox, Zach Miller, Vincent Jackson, LaDainian Tomlinson, NYG Defense

I used my waiver spot to get Zach Miller and made a trade for V Jack using Victor Cruz and Jake Delhomme off a hunch he is traded

Honestly, that team is solid for even a 12 team league, let alone raking in that crew with a 14 team league. Calvin Johnson, Nicks, MJD, Mendenhall, Finley, with Floyd (#1 wr in SD) and Vincent Jackson who will probably play somewhere this year. Cutler is suspect but props to you my friend on a sick draft in a deep league.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
