Panthers 53 man roster (for now)

roy williams isn't all that good and jerrah was a fool for going out and paying that much for him, but they (and the lions for that matter) have gotten WAY more for their money than we have from jarrett and williams has done a lot more to deserve a roster spot than jarrett. it isn't even close.

some of you are so delusional its not even funny

Roy Williams is not very good, and thats an opinion shared by many. I realize not many of us can match your fiery intellect and vast wealth of football knowledge. But there are many who think that Roy Williams was not a good receiver last year. In fact, he didn't catch many more passes than Jarrett did, if you factor in that he played on a team that passes more, and had more playing time. Miles Austin is good, in fact he is very good. Steve Smith is a little bit better. Not much but a little bit. And if any of our guys step up even a little bit, they can be as good as Roy Williams. Not that I am saying that Jarrett will be our number two for certain.

Now if you want to say that Miles Austin and Jason Whitten are a better pair of receivers, you are probably right. Although I do think we have some pretty good tight ends.

then you must only watch Panthers football

both of those dudes didnt live up to the hype. but since Dallas gave up more that means DJ is the better player? If youd pick DJ over Roy Williams then I question your football knowledge. Theyre both trash but Williams is the better player and is more productive on the field. Do you seriously think that DJ is a better option than Williams? Seriously bro?

Jesus christ....

All hail the football god. I guess you can't follow along, so let me break it down.

-Neither is very good.

-Williams was a high first round pick, that was then traded to Dallas for picks and given a huge contract.

-Based soley that neither can produce and Williams has been paid a ton more, who the hell is the bigger bust?

lmaooooooo @ you trying to turn this into a discussion on who is a bigger bust. this is about who is the better player, not the bigger bust. I know who the bigger bust is and I never denied that Williams wasnt a bust. that has nothing to do with the conversation buddy so nice try :hand: we're talking about who the better player is and its clearly Williams. Hell he actually had decent seasons in DET and showed promise. I think he actually had a 1000 yard season. DJ has never been close to showing he'll be a decent player. But yea, since RW is the bigger bust, Jarrett is better

Austin & Williams currently present more of a threat in the passing game than Smitty and Jarrett (who is currently listed as our #2 wideout).

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
