D coordinator scumbags

I just got a chance to rewatch the Vike's/Aint's game and got to thinking about how their defense is coming along. I went to do some reading on their D coordinator and found this article:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/334250-saints-d-coordinator-taking-it-too-far

It talked about how Williams was hoping that their D could injure Manning in the SB. Stunningly, the comment was very frank. I find that when a person says something like this chump, it means that he's only here to benefit himself. It seems to tell me that this guy could give two chits about the guy next to him if it doesnt benefit him to do so. That, to me, is one of the major things that impedes progress. It's like, the sport is worse off because players have to prepare for it. Getting injured will be on their minds instead of the 100% focus they really need to have on a such a complex professional game.

I wonder how many other D coordinators share this mentality because I just cant see Meeks ever saying something like that.

Wanting to injure another player = he's scared of him and doesn't have the coaching talent to stop him.

It goes beyond that though. He cant stop em. . he's scared of em. . but also instead of conceding to defeat, he will do anything he can to make a bigger paycheck including injuring a player and destroying his career.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
