Nowadays trades outside of the draft are rare. Big contracts, old players, a lot of hesitation with player-player trades. So, IF, and I repeat if the Panthers are one of the few teams to have a player-player trade (draft picks can come as packages), who could you see actually coming here and us confident enough to let loose to another squad?

My idea on who we could try to throw out as bait for younger low contract players with potential:

Bridges, Marshall, Hang'man

People I like with potential:

Jameel McClain OLB BAL

Charlie Whitehurst QB SD

Benny Sapp DB MIN

Just spit balling :)

I see something in Benny Sapp

Yeah, I think he's the "Harris" attitude type and is a solid player.

Its amazing how many people fixate on 2-3 players this time of the year when the smaller ones are relatively forgotten who can be just as good.

    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
    • I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
