For the record, I'm by no means saying Creed was a great band. Just that it sort of become the norm to jump on this anti-Creed bandwagon that's still rolling today. I think they were a victim of their own popularity, if that makes any sense.

On the subject of covers: I prefer Hendrix's "All Along the Watchtower" to that of Bob Dylan, who originally wrote and performed the song.

Should Hendrix not have covered this song, Boo? I'd consider both to be classics.

You are comparing Hendrix covering a song (arguably one of the greatest and most influential guitar players in the history of classic rock) to Creed, who I really have no respect for.

I respect the fact that some of you might like them. For the record, I thought they sucked since day 1. Just like Nickelback. Dudes voice is obnoxious and I think their songs suck ass. I never ever liked them. So, I would have to disagree that they were a victim of their own popularity.
