For those who want Peppers tagged... have you thought about Gross?

He and his agent are probably the happiest men in America because now it is the Panther priority to get him signed before FA.... I personally think we will lose big time if we use the tag for Peppers and during all this Gross gets overpaid by another team..... That means we will have lost Gross and Peppers for a measly 1st round pick at best.... I would rather if we can't get a deal with Gross done soon then to use the FT on him rather than Peppers at least securing ourselves with one integral player.

I really really hope we can get Gross done to a deal so we can Franchise and trade Peppers. The window of time is very small, but hopefully we can do it. I think Gross really wants to remain on this line.

From the interviews that I've heard of Gross, he wants to be here. So I think the panthers will get a deal done soon. Peppers doesn't seem to be too excited about coming back. We need to franchise him so we can get something in return. It would a HUGE disaster if we let Pep walk out the door and get nothing in return.

I think the table is set...the FO is going to give full attention to signing Gross for the long haul and franchising Pep for at least a first round.

Alot of teams will be willing to give it up for Peppers.

Agent- He wants to be paid as a top 5 LT

Hurney- Come on now, you're kidding right?

Agent- Good luck using that tag on Peppers, my client is as good as gone once FA starts and you won't have either on your squad next year

Won't be surprised if Gross gets what he wants now.

The idea of going into the offseason with Peppers gone and no first round pick is just unthinkable.

Or maybe use the first we get from the Peppers deal to pick up a top notch OT in this outstanding draft for Tackles.
