No I don't have alot money. But Id buy Panther gear w/o hesitation. it doesn't phase me. Can't take the panther pride out of me.

Can't take it out of me either, but support and pride are two different things. If someone calls you a bitch, they hurt your pride, and you most likely want to retaliate. That's pride. If someone calls you a bitch and they've got 10 fully functional friends with them but you have 10 friends missing arms and legs and are mentally retarded... They have support. You don't. Every other team has the 10 functional friends... We are the armless, legless retards because our owner made it that way.

It doesn't matter how loud you cheer or how much gear you wear this year, it isn't gonna make the team better or play better. What it will do is put JR even further above the red line than he was before. So, that's up to you. My Panther Pride is kicked, shitted on, and spat on every week with the way he constructed this team and I'm not going to show my support by putting more money in his pocket.

Also, the statement he is making by not spending money can't be boosting morale in the locker room b/c the players have to see that as him 'drawing the line' for labor negotiations. We have how many stars playing on one-year deals right now? What if they get injured? And then you got TD trying to get his busted up ass back out there from 2 ACL injuries in one-year b/c he's scared he won't get paid if he doesn't??? THIS poo IT RIDICULOUS MAN. JR is telling you he doesn't care about me, you, or anyone else - he cares about his money, point blank.

So, at this point, it's not about supporting the team, you're supporting him.

Cheer all you want... That is when we actually have something to cheer about... But, you don't have to put more money in his pocket.

Well we cut every player we could conceivably come up with an excuse to cut, added absolutely nobody in FA, jacked up ticked prices and trotted this garbage team out on the field.... wait, you guys have a problem shelling out hundreds of dollars to come see them?

I almost always tend to side with the Front Office and management.... Not this time, not this season. The difference is every other season that we sucked, I felt like the organization tried to put the best team on the field within in reason. They made tough choices, some we may have disagreed with, but they were always trying to win.

But this year is different. I wouldn't care if we went 0-16 if the front office tried to put a good product on the field, but this year for the first time I feel they didn't.

They subtracted, subtracted, subtracted, and subtracted from the team never replacing them with any proven players. Just young, cheap, unproven rookies and young players. the type that would be battling for backup positions on other teams.

Then everyone in the world knew we needed a #2 WR. Past years, we attempted to address, not this year. We'll just relay on DJ who has never proved himself worthy and newly drafted WR that needs time to develop in the NFL. If you contacted TJ, tried to trade for VJ or someone else and it didn't happen... fine. At-least you tried. But to sit on our ass when there was available options to prove a point to the players Union?? Now it's all about you and not the fans. That's what unacceptable.

I will continue to watch the team because I am a fan, but does not mean I have to be happy or support the ownership. My G/F was giving me a present that was tickets to a game later this year... I told her to cancel that. I'll watch the game at a bar.

We're horrible this year, but we didn't have to be!!!!!

It's the start of a new era in Carolina.........JC in and JF out. Get on the wagon now because I don't want to hear anything from you SOB's when it starts too turn. Boy, with fans like this...

Not sure how the Lions have stayed is business all these years....oh yeah, you guys are not their fans.

The difference is I feel the Lions were trying to become a winner. They didn't give up... Making trades, signing players, admitting their mistakes and redrafting the same position, personnel shake ups.... They wanted to win and was trying to get there. To be that's fine. I can support the FO when they are trying. I am just of belief that our FO does not have that same dedication to putting the best product out their on the field they have in pass years.

It's not if the FO makes Good/Bad decisions... It's if they're committed to winning first. I feel the lions were... and this year or FO aren;t.

You can frame it how you want, that's fine... I feel like the Panthers are ingrained in me. They are apart of me that cannot be separated. I love this team like I love my mother, but this isn't about the team. I wish all our players success and hope for the best every game, I pull for us to win. But, supporting our players is not the same as supporting the 'team.' A lot of you guys have a broad sense of the term. I support the guys going out there putting it on the line every week to win a game for the black and blue and everyone they represent... I don't support the fat stacks, penny pinching, wine and cheese, snoody fagoot motherfuger sitting up in that pressbox with a heart that is beating in his chest that probably came from some working class guy that he shitted on somewhere along the way to the top... I have no patience for that.

You guys act like he gives a poo about you... Keep putting money in his pocket... As a businessman, he should understand that if you put out a horrible product, you're profit is going to drop. But, with people still out there giving them their money they sweat for every week, he can just cake it up and build up his stacks bigger while we go without football next year. He'll just be laughing at what idiots we are.

If he's putting the effort out there to put a winner on the field, buy up all you can... Wear 5 jerseys at once... If we had a bad team but we made moves to put out the best product possible that season, fine... I can live with that... Even the 1-15 season, those guys sucked, but they wanted to win and they wore it on their sleeve... You still felt compelled to watch every game. It's not like that this year and its a direct slap to the fan's collective face.

So it's perfectly fine that JR isn't willing to spend money to make our team better and charges higher ticket prices? Hmmmm

I tell ya what guy's......I'm not going to get into a pissing match with ya because I feel I'm over matched here. But, I will say that Professional Sports is a business and if you don't treat it that way then you won't be around long (expecially in a small market). Decisions have to be made that are not popular with the fan base but help the botom line from time to time. If you do this then you should come out on the beter end of the stick in the long run. Oh.....you can be like the Deadskins or the Cowpukes and get your fan base all fired up and then fall on your face...... or you can go the other route. The other route that takes a little bit of time to get to where you want to be but, has a better result at the end. The Panthers will be alright.....it's just going to take a little more time and a few more moves.......starting with the ones wearing the headsets.
