I'm back and I'm pissed

I don't know whether to scream, laugh, or just hang my head and sob uncontrollably while watching this team.

Since 2002 I've never once heard John Fox lay any blame at the feet of coaching or the front office.

This combination of coach and GM either can't or won't develop a young QB or a legit WR. The jury is still out on Clausen, but Fasani, LeFors, Cantwell, Moore, etc. were all poo, and the only 2 this staff have drafted aren't even in the league anymore. They have never developed or selected a legit WR. Moose was a Capers pick, and Smith was picked by Seifert.

It's sickening to see the product on the field, but you get what you pay for, and we apparently went to the frigging Dollar Store for our team.

I miss the days when watching football didn't outright piss me off.

I watch other teams, and it makes me angry, because I can't understand for the life of me why our team can't ever have that aggression, that swagger, hell, why they can't even have the balls to compete.

I'm not bitter or anything.

So, who missed me?

I think that same poo all the time watching other teams. I mean, just look at the game thats on right now.

Its high scoring and there are BIG plays happening, long passes that the qbs are slangin down the field. Touchdowns back and forth, and actually an exciting game to watch for both team's fans. WE do not look anywhere near that.

    • Good read and stuff under it is not bad either. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/article/panthers-cb-jaycee-horn-says-184519429.html
    • While I'd love to add him, it just doesn't make sense for where we are at in our re-build right now. The only teams who should be interested are those who have a very legitimate shot at winning the SB this season, as any team who makes the trade is going to be mortgaging their future to make the move. Teams who make these kinds of trades and then give them the massive contract, in the hopes that it will expedite their path to contention, ALWAYS ends up backfiring because they have to give up the 1st round picks that are then needed to help build out the rest of the roster after eating up such a significant chunk of the cap on the new contract. There is no way the Cowboys trade him for anything less than 2 future 1st rounders (and probably more), plus we'll have to make him the highest paid non QB in league history.  Not to mention that it would then have made the Scourton and/or Princely picks a bit of a waste, as those 2nd and 3rd round picks would have been better off used on a ILB or DB
    • Like his approach to pre season that's ro get them out there and play together for a few plays and right about the night before and morning before.  Maybe we can come out the gate on fire I can smell the smoke from here!!   Go Panthers
