Upgrade our secondary

right now we really need to set our eyes on Asmougha, he can do wonders for our team. As a Panthers fan I have to admit our pass defence is was horrible in the last half of the season last year.

Upgrade our D-Line

Knowing Pep is most likely going to leave Al Haynseworth would be a great player to come in and be a great help. We only saw a little bit of Hilee Taylor this season but I liked the way he played when he was out there before he got injured, something to think about.

Upgrade our OLB

This is probably less of a concern than our other two but our linebackers are not really good a big reason why our D started struggling our ILB is great but maybe we can get a better player to play on the opposite side of Davis.

Start thinking about playing Jarrett more

This kid is a beast and he loves to play football we need to think about putting him in way more especially on third downs were he is his best.

Draft a QB with our first round pick we will get from trading Pep

I know Jake is going to be our starter next year and probably the year after that but we need to draft a qb now because Jake is becoming old and it will be good to get one now than to draft one in two years because he will have to time to practice and train with our team and when its time to step in he will be ready, like Matt Cassell and Aaron Rodgers. Sanchez would be good here.

Fire Trgo

We will never have a defense like the Steelers and Ravens with him.

That's what I think we need to do to help our franchise

Tag Peppers, trade him for 1st and 3rd or more, no less

Resign Gross keep our oline intact

Go after Jovan Haye or Hayneswoth

Resign Frank O

Draft

1. DT/DE

2. RG Herman Johnson, I want this guy bad

3. DT

3. CB

4. WR/KR someone f*ckin fast, we need another guy who can provide some spark

5. RB- to replace Goings, or we could take Birmingham off the ps

No way Fox and Hurney get a QB in the draft. Besides, the fact that they like the QB's we already have, they have made it clear that they do not like drafting and developing QB's.

I think it would be a HUGE boost to our defense if we could go out and get Asomugha in FA. We should get a first round pick for Peppers and we need to use that to help out the D-line.

      Hard to pass up millions for a couple of days work per week for a coaching gig in the NFL that is 60-80 hours each week during the season and a more relaxed 50 hours a week during the off season. Yeah, I'd love to see him as our DC but hard to see him giving up the cushy job there if he gets it. And he's going to be a great commentator for the network.

      Really, I think that is where negotiations come in. If you've got a QB getting you to 10 wins but statistically he's not a great performer, then you say look you can take $22 million or you can try it on the market. Because let's face it, out there, any leadership skills that we're seeing aren't going to be on the table, it's just going to be performance and that lands him in the QB2 market, which is much, much less lucrative (although any of us would love that money).  No one is saying that Bryce will be a $50 million QB, barring something short of a miraculous jump. I'm just saying that if we are winning somehow with him at the helm, then it would be fuging stupid to dive back into the rookie pool all over again. Let's say we do hit the 10 win mark, heck, let's call it 11 and a second round in the playoffs. I think we can all say that would be a really uplifting result and one that should be doable if we have good play. What do we do then? Here's what I would offer if I were Morgan and Tepper. $25 million a year for 3 years, each year with up to $10 million in incentives for touchdowns, wins, playoff depth, being under 10 interceptions, completing a full season, passing yardage milestones, taking less than 15 sacks. Look, Bryce isn't a Ferrari, he isn't a Corvette, or a mid-level BMW. He's probably a new Toyota Sienna that will definitely get you somewhere and bring the whole team along with it, no fuss but not a lot of pizazz.  And really, it's about the destination, not about what drove you there.
