No monday night game?

Tutto

I thought every team got a monday night game? I dont get it... if theres 16 weeks, shouldn't two teams play every monday night = 32 teams?

Unless its listed wrong on the website, it shows the panthers having no monday night games... Did the thursday game take place of it?

Every team has to get a night game. That means either NBC ESPN or NFL Network. We are on the NFL Network.

Before that, teams were never guaranteed a Monday night game, and they still aren't. Some teams have had 3 in one season while others have gone a couple of years w/o a MNF game.

Can you imagine if every team was guaranteed one night on MNF??? OMG. What garbage that brand would quickly become.

"So, Jaws, what are your thoughts on tonight's matchup of St. Louis vs Oakland?? It's bound to be an epic game!!"

God... spare me from that ever happening.

    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
