Calling the Plays

I don't think I've seen this discussed but watching last weeks game one thing really bothered me. I know every team calls plays into the QB different but it just seems likes we're adding confusion and time onto our play calling situation by having Davidson call the play into Matt Moore who calls it into Jimmy.

Is there any particular reason for this chain of command? It seems just as easy to cut out the middle man and have Davidson call the plays directly to Jimmys helmet..

So Moore can call the plays in late and make Jimmy get a delay of game and look bad to us fans!

it wasn't working last week. the helmet speaker wasn't working the 1st qtr and when it finally did the crowd was too loud for jimmy to hear.

thats the only reason they did it like that.

Davidson is mildly retarded as an OC at times but he is not THAT retarded.
