Elway or Manning?

Other then his performance against SF his game against NY was solid.

If the only measuring stick for QB's is QB rating, Comp % and TD/Int Ratio

Then guys like Jeff Garcia, Chad Pennington would be in the GOAT discussions.

Those are not the only measuring sticks, but to say that they mean nothing is just plain stupid.

IMO, Elway is and was terribly overrated. He was not terribly accurate, and he threw far too many INT's for my liking.

He has very very close numbers to McNabb, whom I think is a good QB, but should not even be considered in the best ever catagories like Elway is.

Before the Panthers were created, I never had a team and I was young so I was more of a fan of players. John Elway and Randall Cunningham were my two favorites. I was mad at that 55-10 romping. He didnt finally get his championship til that run game came along, thus improving his numbers those years not having to pass as much lowering his ints.

Manning is still the better QB.

3-4 more INTs per season for Elway compared to Manning,

If Mcnabb can play at a high level for another 5-6 years and win a couple of SB's he should very well be in discussions.

To say Elway was "Average" based off a handful of stats is idiotic
