Peppers is leaving because...

...why? This should probably be in some other thread, but whats one more, right? I have thought about this, sober and not-so, and come up with a few reasons. Feel free to add your own theories, I will give yous the 'What's or Who's' and a brief 'Why'...

1) Trgo -enough said. Off he goes...

2) Carolina -he's lived there his whole life, and now he's wanting a change of scenery. Plus he's over his moochin ass family, its time to cut them loose. Off he goes...

3)Diversity -Kinda goes with reason2, but learning from different places makes us all better, thats no secret. Learn one way your whole life, or career, thats all you know. We all need different influences to gain knowledge to be better than we were. Off he goes...

4) Kris Jenkins -Big man was loud about being unhappy last season, and was loud about his new found happiness in NewYork. These words have made it back to Pep who thought "That could be me!". Off he goes...

5) Jon Beason - 'The New Kid' theory. Beason comes in and outshines Peppers. Julius is intimidated by JB's on-the-field prowess and Pep is left wondering "How did the spot of 'Defensive Beast' get taken from me so fast?". Soon after Peppers realizes that as long as Beason is around he will have to fight to continue be the best the Panthers' have to offer. This really doesnt sit well with Julius, so...Off he goes...

But yous all noticed that Pep was far away from Steve Smith before he let his true feelings be known.

That is all, P-sout...

    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
    • I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
    • Yea Bryce was definitely a top half qb the second half of last season but I'm not sure Canales is 100% sold on him.  Like I've said in another post I think that's part of why we talked to so many South Carolina players in the draft process.  I think they are doing early due diligence on Sellers just in case.
