Depends on how the quote came about. If he was asked, did Julius peppers do a good enough job, then he really didn't single Peppers out. If he said that out of the blue, then he was singling out peppers.

I saw that on Football Night in America. Lovie called out Peppers and then said that he did not coach well and the team didn't play well. But Peppers was the only player called out by name. Good times!
