My dog has been having some stomach issues, and she left me a nice present at the front door. She looked so sad when I came in. Like your dog, she cowered down and held her head low to the floor in shame. I couldn't yell at her -- it would have done no good, and it was obvious she felt bad about it.

But you're right -- cleaning up dog poo is horrible. It makes me gag as well. I have to step away to get a deep breath before "going in."

Yeah, I had a dog once that was throwing up blood all over the place because she had parvo. She almost died, but we had an awesome vet, and she made it.

but I do crate my dog when Im out of the house. She loves it and thus no poopoo or peepee in household.

I normally crate our dog but I was going to be gone for longer than normal and I don't think it's fair for her to have to sit in the crate for more than 4 hours. So I put puppy pads down & shut all the bedrooms & bathrooms to confine her to the main area in the house. She's usually pretty good and doesn't do anything but lay in the sun next to the window or play with the cat.

Our dog is dumb as poo and more hyper than a 3 year old on crack, but I do give her credit for never having to poo or piss in the house since she was a puppy.

In the past I normally put up a baby gate and keep him in the laundry room or kitchen when I would be gone longer than I thought he should be in the crate.

Not anymore, he is too damn lazy to do anything.
