According to sources close to the situation, several of the assistants were more than a little perturbed that it took so long for the Panthers to offer them contract extensions. Apparently, the offers came only in recent days.

I get what you mean....but waiting for Fox (or most other HCs) to state publicly that he was pissed about it means waiting for hell to freeze over, thaw again and refreeze...ain't gonna happen.

I have no idea if his sources are garbage or valid, but it's an interesting theory.

I'm actually glad this happened..Defense needed a wake up, plus it seriously UP the chances of #90 staying. Each move to fill these shoes will be interesting for us this offseason...atleast we know we'll have a "new" defense next season...AGAINST ALL ODDZ!!
