I don't go so much by the injuries b.s., yes it is an issue now but for the first 6 games of the year we were healthy. Only missing Otah, while I don't doubt that Otah is a pivotal part of the offense, a team shouldn't drop 6 games in a row just because of a RT.

How many other head coaches who have 3 wining seasons in the last 8-9 years are hot coaching commodities? I think that is a bigger mystery than why he is still loved after this season. I guess consistent mediocrity with an occasional decent season sprinkled in is a combination many find irresistable.
