Should Vince Young have started for Tennessee today?

The Injured Reserve list is an unforgiving mistress.

Dude is on IR simply because of the fallout. He probably could've held off surgery on his thumb til after the season. Vince did not want to be pulled and did not want to leave the game. But for the 2nd time in his career, Jeff Fisher successfully used an injury to make a QB change. Something most head coaches dont do. But Fisher has 0 faith in him and pulled the trigger for the 2nd time this season. Fisher said regardless of the injury, no matter what, Vince aint his QB. Im trying to wrap my mind around the fact why he hasnt been fired yet.

Fisher did I think.

Though honestly, Fisher knew he was gone when he said that, so I dunno how his tune woulda changed.

Yep

"We had an incident in the locker room, and it was very unfortunate. It's been well documented," Fisher said. "As a result of not only the incident in the locker room but also more importantly the injury to Vince's thumb, Vince is not going to play anymore this season."

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
