Im watching Jimmy Kimmel now, and I forgot the other guy that he mentioned teaming up with, but he said he was going for it. He said he it would have to be an existing team because the NFL doesn't want to expand.

anschutz is a probably englishized version of the verb anschützen which means "to fire upon"

Rams played in the Big A, a compromised/poor excuse for a home baseball stadium.

The Raiders, well Al thought he could blackmail Oakland into building him a new stadium. Still hasn't worked 30 years later.

The Raiders played in the Rams old venue, the LA Coliseum.

This was a shithole built for the 1932 Olympic games. A horrible venue in an area you would never hope to have your car stall in.

Los Angeles has never had a Pro Football stadium, to think otherwise is ignorant.

I'm not sure I buy the notion that a sub-standard stadium is the big reason for a lack of fan support in Los Angeles.

More than one writer has pointed out that it's just not a city that's passionate about pro football. They've got the Lakers, they've got got USC and they've got probably a million other things to do more than any other city in the U.S. It just hasn't been a good venue for pro football in a couple of decades.

Maybe it can be again, but I have my doubts (and I'm not the only one).
