This Kind!

I close Friday on my place. Normally as an ex-real estate agent, I would have asked for to be done as part of the offer. But I made them such a low offer that I didn't want to push my luck.

So before I move in furniture, I want to get the carpet cleaned. Stanley Steamer seems kind of high for 2 bedrooms, hall, Living and Dining room for $230.

I have about 2 weeks before the movers move my furniture. (I know Christmas/New Years timing sux.)

Anyone know if a good chearper carpet cleaner?

The latest huddle bigot. Nice.

This reminds me just the other day I was in an antique store. I was complementing the owner on a trunk she had. She said to me "That is a nice piece but people keep trying to Jew me down on it".

I told her it wasn't necessary to say what she said, in the nicest way I could. She didn't understand what I was telling her so I explained myself and she says to me that she didn't know what she said could be offensive to someone.

I didn't know whether to believe her or not. But she wasn't defensive about it so it must have just been ignorance on her part.

    • I'd give Bryce until the trade deadline to prove he's the answer and if he's not I'm dumping him for whatever pick we can get and I'm riding with Dalton the rest of the way.  2 and a half years is enough time to determine if he can be the QB going forward so for Bryce he needs to come out over the next couple of weeks and show that. The other players in the locker room don't wanna waste another year of their careers waiting to see if you'll ever figure it out.  If you took a poll of the players in the locker room I'm sure they'd rather lose with a respected veteran Dalton who at least gives them some creditability versus losing with Bryce who the entire media will say was let down by his supporting cast when in reality it's Bryce's physical limitations that are holding this team back.
    • I agree that he should’ve never been the pick at 1. In my 44 years I’ve never seen a team invest that much in a QB who is my size. I’m not meant for the NFL and neither is he.    Accepting we can’t change the past, I think it’s the correct call to keep playing him hoping that he will prove us wrong. I think we were dumb not to draft a QB this past year and let him learn and compete but that’s our reality.    I’m hoping this is the last year with the BY experiment and he deliverers us 1. To the playoffs or 2. The number one pick and we draft a real QB.
    • In his first interview after the surgery he sounded absolutely miserable.  Man that must beat you down to have that done
