This bug that's going around

Yep. I was one of the first to catch this. About 3 weeks ago I was sick for two weeks straight that is how long it lasts. It is Bronchitis and Toncilitus is also going around. I was lucky enough to get BOTH. I was on some serious antibiotics and I had to see a doctor twice in two weeks. luckily I didn't feel the worst of it becasue I got it treated immediately because I knew I had it. I got one of the sicknesses from people at work, then in a fragile state I got the other from my family.

Which reminds me people YOU NEED TO CALL OUT of work. STAY HOME. I would rather pick up the slack than be put out of work for 14 days. You need to be considerate and realize not everyone wants to work when they are sick and it is completely rude to walk up into the workplace getting everyone else sick because you have some problem calling out. This poo pisses me off. I called out of a week and a half of work and I went ballistic when I went back to the people who got me sick.

Anyways I definitely could not breathe, that was the worst. Cramps everywhere and everything was sore my whole body ached from coughing. I got absolutely no sleep unless I drank a half bottle of nightquill or had a few shots. I don't get sick but once every few years and this sucked.

I can't sleep at all, and I've 4 vicadins today.

I got sick at work because the boss begged a coworker to come in for a couple hours because we were shorthanded even though she was as sick as a dog. So now they're losing me 3-4 days for that 2 hours.

Guess I'm lucky I didn't get the Toncilitis.

I went from feeling great yesterday morning, best I've felt in weeks, to being unable to tie my shoes and drive myself to the hospital in 2 hours.

Out of curiosity, did any of you who have gotten sick have the flu shot already? I never get one, and I've only gotten the flu like 2 or 3 times in my life. It never seemed nearly as bad as what you guys are talking about, that sounds vicious.

Although the flu is no joke, it feels like it would be easier to die (until you vomit, then you feel a lot better) lol.

I maaaaaaybe get sick once a year, and I never get a flu shot. I've never had anything like this, but one time I had a gastointestinal bug that kept me from riding anywhere in a car for 3 weeks. THat one was pretty nasty, but it was a good 14 or 15 years ago. Since then I've been sick maybe 10 times.

That bug was also the last time I went to see a doctor about an illness because it freaked me out that I was shitting flakes and couldn't ride anywhere in a car without throwing my guts up. That and this are the two worst I've ever had.

Yeah, I was wondering about the flu shot because I've been suspicious of it... They tried to get me to give my kids the flu shot when they get their checkups, and I think it's a crock that makes people more susceptible to get sick.

I'm like you for the most part, I hardly ever get SICK, maybe a cold, some sniffles twice a year or so, and like I said, I've only gotten the flu 2 or 3 times in my life... But, yeah, that sounds crazy bad, get better soon man!
