Anyone still want to defend Mike Goodson?

Nobody can cut, dance, or squirm out of tackles like Williams. He turns water into wine. Goodson can only manage Dr. Pepper. Not quite there.

none of that does anyone any good when you can't stay on the field to do it...or hold on to the ball.

Goodson is a great player and I believe he is so good, that these mistakes will only make him better. He is that type of player. The type who has faults but more than makes up for them (like Farve's INT, Peterson's fumbles). Those players, you keep. I like him, he can be nasty. He has ONE bad thing about him. His other, picking up the blitz, seemed to improve greatly this game, did you notice that? I think it's because he was pissed he fumbled it.

Goodson's fumbling problem lately is why it best to keep Williams. Goodson still need a lot of work on that. I prefer we use him as a WR along with keeping Smitty, Gettis, LaFell, & maybe Charley Martin or Wright.
