Anyone else have this problem?

I'm a big Bobcats fan and have charter TV. Almost every single time the Bobcats have a game Fox Sports South says in the description that it will be showing the Bobcats game at whatever time it is, well never have I seen the Bobcats on TV. I always turn it there and it'll be some kind of hockey game or hunting show or under the lights, etc. It's really frustrating and I always have to end up following it on my phone or ESPN gamecast. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks for reaching out to me regarding the Bobcats on cable. FSN owns our television broadcast rights and this year will distribute 80 regular season games on SportSouth (SPSO) to every cable and satellite operator in North and South Carolina. Through negotiations with FSN, the following cable operators have opted to pick up broadcasts of Bobcats games on SPSO; Time Warner Cable in Charlotte, Greensboro, Fayetteville, Raleigh and Winston-Salem; Mi-Connection (Mooresville, NC); SkyLine Communications (West Jefferson, NC), Southern Coastal Cable, LLC (Georgetown, SC), AT&T in Charlotte, Raleigh and Columbia and Comcast in Charleston. We have reason to believe that additional cable providers in both North and South Carolina will decide to pick up Bobcats games at some point this season, but it’s still premature to discuss which ones might do so.

As of the end of last season, Charter was one of the cable providers that had made the decision to not carry Bobcats games.

It should be noted that satellite providers DirecTV and Dish Network have opted to limit their carriage of the Bobcats on SPSO to the NBA-designated inner market: a 75-mile radius around the city of Charlotte. Neither DirecTV nor Dish Network will make Bobcats games available on SPSO beyond the NBA’s 75-mile inner market radius because they both decided not to pay the league’s outer market fees.

Regardless of a cable or satellite operator's decision to carry the Bobcats on SPSO, all of our games are blacked out on NBA League Pass in North and South Carolina per NBA rule to protect the team’s broadcast partner.

I hope this answers any questions you might have about the broadcast situation in Gaffney. Let me know if you have any more.

    • The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone and we have Taylor Moton inked to a recent extension. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
    • This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
    • The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
