Inception got nominated for best picture, and 8 nominations over all, but Chris Nolan will not be up for Best Director.

My top guesses:

Best picture winner - "The Social Network"

"Black Swan" & "The King’s Speech" could win it too, but they're better suited with individual acting honors

*An overall great list of movies this year

Actor winner - Colin Firth, "The King's Speech"

Actress winner - Natalie Portman, "Black Swan"

Supporting actor winner - I'm split:

Christian Bale, "The Fighter" / Geoffrey Rush, "The King's Speech"

Supporting actress winner - Hailee Steinfeld, "True Grit"

Potential underdog: Jacki Weaver, "Animal Kingdom"

Director winner: Arfnosky "Black Swan"...but Fincher may run away with it (This is a good race)

    • It's not common for a RB to recover from two ACL tears in the same knee. It's fairly rare. You are correct that it isn't the career ender that it used to be but there is also the fact that we appear to have largely moved on with the additions of Dowdle and Etienne.  Dobbins is a very good example. He has basically missed 54% of his career regular season games since he came into the league in 2020. It will end up being 57% at the conclusion of this season. It's a big contributing factor to why he is on this third NFL team in 6 years. It's certainly possible that may be 4 by the beginning of next season. I would say there is very little chance that Brooks ever contributes in any meaningful way in Carolina. Possibly with another team but I am extremely skeptical of his future here because of those injuries and because of the roster.
    • Dude he didnt play in pre season.....  he didnt practice at all with the team until the end of October.    I do agree though.
    • Bryce had a hand in the Miami win but not nearly as large of one as Rico and he also had the extra burden of being a big reason we were in the hole in the first place. If we get a winning season he is definitely back for next year though.
