News Flash: the Panthers will meet with all the top draft prospects since they have the # 1 overall pick simply as a matter of due dilligence if nothing else.

But, but...apparently there's no player this draft worthy of the #1 overall pick meaning the Panthers trade down to the supposed multitude of teams clamouring to trade up for these tier 1-b prospects, right?

Well, you gotta remember after all the incest around these parts and inbreeding that most people look at the draft as which one of them is going to get violated by Uncle Charlie first .

In other news, what happens if we trade the #1 pick down this year and there is a lockout? Would the other team inherit our draft slot in 2011 as well? I'd assume not since normally they dont unless you trade them a certain round pick. However, with the potentially lockout, everything changes.
