Since we are bragging about our kids.

I'm a freshman in college, and I'm glad to say that I don't have any children haha.

But if we're bragging ABOUT children, I can brag about myself?? I finished top 5 in my high school's senior class, and I finished my first semester of college with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

I think the high school I went to was a top 3 finisher in statewide exams the last few years among public schools. If any of yall are in New Hanover County and want to send your children to a great free high school, PM me and I can give you some info.

My stepdaughter is 7 and now "hates" schoole because it's not "entertaining". Trying to figure out a way to get her to get over it seeing how she has 10 more years left to hate it.

Get her started in sports, softball sign up is just around the corner. My girl loved softball. Played on her middle and high school teams. Soccer is also fun and cheap. Maybe she like music? Again my girl played percussions in both middle and highschool bands and would not have traded it for the world. Hands down her two fav things about school. Band is pricey fyi, bout 500 bucks a year in high school.

ABSOLUTELY!! We car pool from SoPa if that's any indication.

It would be a little bit of a drive in the opposite direction from my work so I am a bit more interested in Queens Grant. Queens Grant is in Mint Hill where we are, that would be super convenient. Of course we would just be happy to get him in to a charter school.

We spend more than $500/year on band. Just this year, we've shelled out over a grand.
