What's taking so damn long? It's been 3 years since GTA IV. And we haven't heard anything from Rockstar. There are a bunch or rumors and speculation, but no official release from Rockstar.

Forget that. Hopefully Rockstar is working on another in the Red Dead series.

...if they are working on GTA, hopefully there are no moon physics. That made the game unplayable IMO.

lol no more car launches for you googoodan? I grew up with the GTA series and played this crap out of some San Andreas. It would be cool to have another GTA game but to me they are just too damn long and too open ended. Might as well just make them into MMOs or something.

Too long and open ended? you mean you get too much for your money? GTA series is fuging legendary and I hope it stays the same. the original really wasn't that good but how can you argue with 4, 3 or the best ever vice city? They were master peices! The only thing I want is a bigger map and even more personable relationship simulations. More similations in general, like maybe owning a house and cars and building a mansion and to be able to do it selling drugs or catching bad guys up to you sort of thing. I love GTA, the game is awesome. GTA is so much a better game than red dead, which was horrible. Why would you settle for an even more linear game. Hugely open games with mass exploration and endlessness value is what GTA is all about. If they could somehow encompass co-op they would be even more amazing.

III to vice was two years

vice to SA was almost two years

SA to 4 was four years

so if they are adding even more content, which follows their trend, I woul estimate spring 2012. Rockstar does not like to release games in the 'prime time' holiday season. In fact for 4 they were going to wait until the holiday season but where spending way too much budget.

I hope they take their time, it's 2011 people we need to really expect more from our games than all this linear crap. The guys are chargin 65 bucks then another 15 in a few months for updates. the next console platform is not but a couple/few years away.

I loved the first 'Liberty City' and San Andreas that was my first GTA experience. And from then on I've loved me some GTA.

I'd like to see Today. I've heard it may be based in London or Los Angeles again.

i would like a mixture of all the maps like in red dead you have the snow up north along with the city, you have the mexican deserts and the plains of the midwest.

I'd like to see Tokyo, Hong Kong, or Moscow as the base of operation in the next GTA.

in other words i dont want just 1 city in the game, i want the whole us represented. maybe even being able to fly or boat to other countries.
