Battlefield 3 out Fall 2011

Playing the beta on 360. It is pretty fun, its a bit glitchy but that is to be expected.

Like what I am seeing so far though.

Quick question for anyone on console...

I can't figure out how to voice chat..I have my headset in but no one can hear me and I am not hearing any chatter either. Is there a specific button that I press to activate voice communication?

I played a few hours on 360, the infantry combat is definitely the sharpest any Battlefield game has ever been. They definitely made it more fluid and fun. I just can't wait to play with the vehicles!

I played some last night. HUGE learning curve coming from BFBC2. The maps are massive.

One thing I hate: Shotguns with slugs. And now they gave them fuging scopes.

I played it for a while on the PS3 and I thought the graphics were friggin terrible. Game play was alright, little shakey. I know its just the beta so not really concerned but wasnt blown away.

Graphics are terrible on the console. That's unfortunately what happens when you take an engine designed on state of the art hardware and port it to a console running hardware seven years old....

The Graphics are fine on PS3, everybody compares their $300.00 system to a $1000.00-$2000.00 computer rig and it's just stupid. I've been playing on PS3 and the game is awesome.
