couple things that jumped out at me from the Super Bowl that I think need to be changed for the future....

forward progress rule...if you are on offence and you deliberately make a move backwards to try to gain more forward yardage, you're forward progress needs to be eliminated. Saw a couple passes caught last night where the receiver purposely moved backwards to try to get around the defender and they still got spotted where they caught the ball....this is wrong I think.

the whole celebration thing needs to be relooked, again! Guy gets a pick six in the fricken super bowl and get's flagged for excessive celebration!! Seriously? Yes, sharpies in the sock and cell phones in the padding is over the top...but come on...it's rediculous now!

and I personally hope they cut the preseason games from 4 to 2, regardless of the regular season games. All this talk of 16-4 or 18-2....why can't it be 16-2 and just move the start or end of the season?

only reason I threw in the 3rd part was it seems to be a sticking point with alot of folks...not sure why the big need to stick with 20 games. If there is truly a safety issue with having 4 preseason games, and as a season ticket holder, I am opposed to having to pay full price for 2 preseason games too...but why does it have to be 20 games?

      Even if he beats the odds, returns midseason  and plays like he did last year it won’t warrant a big contract extension.

      It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
